Privacy Policy

Overview

Swirl Tally ("the app") is a frozen yogurt and ice cream calorie/macro calculator. It does not require an account, does not collect your name, and does not store your calculator entries anywhere outside your own device. This policy explains the limited data handling that does occur, mainly through third-party advertising.

Information we collect directly

None. The app has no sign-up, no user accounts, and no server that stores your flavour, topping, or total selections. Everything you enter lives only in the app on your device and is cleared when you reset the calculator or delete the app.

Advertising

Swirl Tally shows banner ads served through Google AdMob. To help fund keeping the app free, we ask for permission to show ads that are more relevant to you using Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt.

• If you allow tracking, Google AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier to show personalized ads and may share limited data with its advertising partners under its own privacy policy.
• If you decline tracking, the app still shows ads, but they will be less personalized.
• You can change this permission at any time in your device's Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Google's handling of this data is governed by Google's own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. You can also review Google's Ads Settings to control ad personalization across Google services.

Nutrition data

The flavour, topping, and brand nutrition figures shown in the app are sourced from each brand's own published nutritional information (or, where a brand doesn't publish its own figures, from the relevant product's own official nutrition data). This data is bundled with the app or fetched from public sources — it is not personal information and is not linked to you in any way.

Children's privacy

Swirl Tally is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us using the details below and we will address it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a new "last updated" date.
